Re: Unit upgrade system discussion

That's nice!

I see, btw, i don't think that, it will be always the user who will decide what is in on his strategy, so leaving plenty options will be nice to make it harder to his foe to figure out what is his plan.

Re: Civilian stuff.

Like, roads as decoration will be bad if we have railroads as decoration aswell, bcz there will be parts that will require crossing between them, so we still can have them that way, but it will interfere with other things, so i prefer to keep them with normal tiles... Btw as soon as i find a good ti...

Re: Civilian stuff.

Yeah, i know, i was using this base make them: Terrain - All Roads - Clear.png Tho, that drawback is quite bad to create maps in some cases, i think it work as momentaneous thing... It will help until a specific tileset is made for it (Like the cliff ones). But i think we could have it working in bo...

Re: Unit upgrade system discussion

1)b 2)a - But i also cosider b if we could have both individual upgrades and lineage upgrades at same time (In other words A and B). At least for me, both can work together at same time, individual being fast/cheap upgrades to the units while the lineage slow ones. So if both aren't possible, i stay...

Re: M6 IMPLEMENTED

Yep, the one that was produced in relative large numbers was the basic M6, the further versions with large turret were created to test the T29 technologies in developement. So they are just transitional versions.

Re: T28/T95 IMPLEMENTED

In the history of this tank, it had used 2 names, for some time it was called as T28 and then, as T95, then back to T28... i believe we can separate it in two, the turreted one and the one without turret, with that each can have their own upgrade version. The turreted one will be more flexive, while...

Ah i see, you're looking for the ones with flat angled slopes... The ones i made to look the basic ones with the smooth curved slopes, i'm using pixly on the phone to make them so idk if it can work with that sort of layer... Well, M4 did came in all sizes and shapes xD, in the field, they had to re...

Re: M24 Chaffee

Yeah that sounds accurate, but I'm also saying that techs that let you build tanks with different roles like the M8 Scott from the M5 Stuart or M3A3 Satan from M3 Stuart should still be producable (off of remaining models of earlier tank) after the player advances to the next lineage of tank models...

Re: T29 Heavy tank

I see, there is still some free space so i guess i can increase it a bit, but i don't like too much the idea of overlaping, like i think all soviet tank imgs are not scaled correctly, they are too much exagerated compared to bigger vehicles of other nations, one perfect example is that T40, Jagdtige...

Re: M24 Chaffee

As always an extremely complex solution I have mixed feelings about. I'm not sure if tech can effect the unit's stats in negative way. Well, reducing the cost is actually a positive thing, but i believe that isn't what you mean about negative right? Btw. It isn't complex, it is just me that is bad ...

Re: M24 Chaffee

Maybe it's doubtable realistically wise, but given noone needs tons of very similar tanks it's a better solution I think (not that units suddenly getting better equippment and training out of nowhere like in AoS/AoF were realistic anyway). Agreed, it require some time to think, but that is interest...

T29 Heavy tank IMPLEMENTED

With the arrival of German Panther II and Tiger II (aka king tiger), the Soviet IS and IS2, on the very end of the war, the US army requested a tank able to compete and overcame these tanks. So from the M6 experience, they started a better heavy tank. The T29. Althought it didn't reached in time for...
