That is something we discussed some time ago (orcs and dwarves being able to build on mountains, elves on forest and so on). I think that it would be a bit difficult to balance that on many maps because different terrains are not always evenly distributed. That would ends up with balance widely diff...

I guess it is. Anyway it really doesn't have an actual use since all other (better) flying units don't really require it.

what about 3 colors then?

1 base form with a magic arrow effect, 1 lightning form and 1 firebolt form

Also we need a new factory base tower (we might give it shorter range magic arrow too)

I want various variants, not only different dots. Possible additional debuffs (weakening attack, lowering speed or armor as variants (but only one effect in addition to dot)); I prefer not giving both dot and debuff. that would make poison much better than any spell Bleeding (exclusive) - dot + low...

actually i think think that best variant with poisons is to make different "poison" effects. They will have similar appearance (dot), non stackable with itself but stackable with other poisons. I prefer, if we go for different poisons, to have totally different effects and not just dot. I have an i...

If for any reason a player need a unit with a veteraning effect (e.g. Rpg maps), it will be possible to make units with veteraning effects.

well I believe that the bow have always been given to the elves as it was considered a weapon used out of finesse than strength (that's why many female characters were often equipped with bows). In truth bows aren't a great weapon unless you are actyally strong and thus able to use that strength to ...

elves already ignore armor with powerrange techs (precision shot and fencing techs)

anyway I wouldn't think a crossbow will be good for elves (in terms of flavor), maybe for rising sun elves later.

the previous height of the tower was fine but I think that the roof should be flat and the 2 buildings should be 1

the fact is that the tower looks like being actually part of those buildings so I thought it could simply be a shorter castle-like building with a tower showing from the roof.
