Re: Sacred Ent - Kodama

From what i read, it will depends on which kind of unit it will be...

I liked the idea of the hamletback-type... An ent-like unit that does drop little buffing spirits.

I think he just want a button on settings to disable/enable auto-action of the units to avoid pressing that button on every single unit/turn.

Re: AXis Allies - useful?

Only on campaigns and map editor... Alliances take a big role there and many campaigns still work with them. But for random multiplayer maps, the combined thing isn't necessary imo... Personally i don't have problems with it being removed... But instead of removing it entirelly, i think that both sh...

But this is AOFantasy right? So why not magical wagon or something. Whatever. I know this is useless. Lol Well, it is, but it must make a minimal sense... You just can't adress everything as magic... For me a new stat for unit mass would be interesting for these cases but i'm ok with these changes....

Sure, just make a copy of the same style, but in black. This tutorial does explain how to do that... And it seens easy enough even to me  https://www.phpbb.com/styles/installing/ For the variant ones i guess asking the opinion of current design leaders will be better... Can you mention them here?

Yes, but Only if you don't ignore the way that they were brought back, if you do that you basically have the same thing, walking corpses in different stages... Not only as i mentioned b4, you can have zombies from science and alchemy aswell... But those don't have their respective names, so they sha...

The spirits could melt and dry the whole body or just the articulations... or create or attract mud projection of itself outside the figure as a fake body hiding th...

Re: Ambusher Zombie

Yes, and no, bcz the title of zombie does apply to any walking corpse... The only rule is that they where brough back to life, and not necessarely that they are rotten-faded or dumb... They can be fresh-dead and smart... Retain skills, memories and even be emotional... So the difference is the origi...

Re: Clay-Terracotta army.

Well, i believe we should use more spirits/supernatural creatures on the undeads... There are very few imo... I don't think they would fit on the humans, they are basically ancient phantoms but in clay... So they have more similarity to undeads than any other faction... But the difference is that i ...

Re: Age of Infinity

I see, did you started to work something on that? Since it is a deep space, i'm not sure if we have tilesets to begin. I'm thinking that AOI should be a top-down variant and since there would be less core units needed, maybe can have new mechanics to test aswell, as having unit orientation and alter...

Clay-Terracotta army.

In burial ceremonies of great figures, human sacrifices are buried with the deceased person, so that they will serve that person in the afterlife. These sacrifices are called martyrs. Sometimes, martyrs also include human-size clay figures. A clay figure was possessed by the spirit of a human martyr...

Hovering is the name of the continuous movement that happens slightly above the ground... But for in-game, since this multirole is able to transport infantry, i believe that would be hard to pick anything far away from the ground... One analog was the I400 sub being able to pick units underwater... ...

The zombie and the trap should be two distinct things, but both zombie and the trap should be invisible at some point, unless they became exposed... Re: Assassin Zombie

that's a different kind of approach. A trap that makes 20 damage oneshot a unit that has less than 20 hp. Pretty much something like this i'm looking for it. I thought you wanted traps to kill any unit that steps on them No, a single trap that kills anything that triggers it would be too much broke...
