Re: undead siege

Plz, no vanishing.

It is tedious enough to try to finagle The Spirit Towers whilst that vanishing bug is in effect.

Not to mention... The bone golem and flesh golem are more than enough for vanishing.

Re: Buidlings' images redesign request

Sweet work, @Savra

Maybe you can make the human towers and buildings to match?

Cause, I gotta say. THAT... LOOKS... AWESOME!!!!

And perhaps make those rooftops team color.

Awful difficult to see that pink line.

Re: dismounted knights ACCEPTED

Looks good.

Although, the shields Don't look uniform. Shape-wise

Maybe change tier 1 to have same shape as tier 2&3

Or...

Change tiers 2&3 to look like tier 1.

Re: Polishable unit images in AOS

Crossbow look fine now.

But the helm needs to be differentiated from the coif

Maybe draw a line to separate the two?

Re: Polishable unit images in AOS

Perhaps, I can edit... Tunic looks too small . . . And flat. I'll try to use my design, just at a different angle This is why I made an attempt. As for crusader, I thought they would be nice... I don't mean to cause offence. There were complaints already as to how the Church units looked out of pla...

Re: Polishable unit images in AOS

Erm, Endru1241 , the pixels between the legs was the back part of the chain mail hauberk. White is typically used to depict knights Templar... The beige I thought was tan. To show the dirt and sand that stained the cloth. And so it would set them apar from Templars, Hospitallers, and the knights of ...

Understandable. . . I don't like the fact that the assassin dissapears after a kill.

It is fragile with 6 hp?
And can be stepped on.

Re: Pikeman

Not bad, the imgs could do with some polishing... Maybe edit from standard AoS units like spearman and Broad swordsman, so the Armor can match. From there, we can see what to do next. 1st tier: Edit from Spearman 2nd & 3rd: Edit from Halberdier, for 3 give (a little) gold like Man At Arms Or post Sp...

Re: dismounted knights ACCEPTED

Seems ok...

Hp seems kinda low, imho.

Maybe raise 3rd tier hp to 35 instead of 31. But, I think theres a cap isn't there?

It seems -10 hp is a trend for dismounted knight.

Other than that, perfect! :D

Re: Halberdier

The broad-headed axe] was succeeded by the berdiche, a pole-axe, longer in shaft and having the narrow lower end of tall blade rounded inward and braced against the shaft. At first this lower end of the blade merely touched the wooden shaft; it then became fastened to it; next it embraced the shaft,...

Pikeman

Description: Equipped with a very long pole, much longer than that of a normal spear, pikemen were known to make excellent formations to bar cavalry charges, and keep other soldiers away long enough to have other units to deal with them. Re: Halberdier

Understandable. . . I was thinking a pole axe, spear on top, axe one one side and a hammer on the other, (most versatile pole arm used) However, it had been noted that there was a discussion that it would be too similar to the halberd. So, Poleaxeman? Will work, unless there is something better. As ...

Well, even so... If these "infected" get in. . .

Which would have a similar mechanic.

Because I have thought up at least half a dozen campaign ideas for them alone.

Endru1241 , Stratego (dev) , this infantry unit shou be able to counteract the cavalry discussions... The Halberdier will be affected by ALL the normal smithing techs... +...

Re: Polishable unit images in AOS

Not bad, but I suggest that the Crossbowmen actually HOLD the weapons. Instead of it being drawn in front of them.

Not only that, but the stalk looks bent, and not in the right way.
