So, the slingers suck. Enough said.

Can we make an upgrade for them? perhaps it can give them a 3rd attack, because i think an upgrade for them should play on their strengths, which is dealing with many infantry at once from range. Possibly give them an extra attack or two as well.

Any ideas?

Why don't you merge your proposal with the master slinger one?
The unit that throws 2 times per turn is the slinger, and the master slinger would be its upgrade

Ok, how about we remove the armor, maybe make their acuracy much greater like a true, MASTER slinger? :)

Hmm...

His helmet still looks a little bit weird for some reason. Other than that it looks really good. Maybe give him a slightly more fine looking shield than the original slinger?

Oooooh, I really like the shield in the first picture.

Although they kinda look like ants :lol: can we remove the helmet off of the first picture and see what it looks like?

Without helmet it doesent look good.

Well, this looks more like a pot on the head imho, i tried to make a simple round helm in the second pic, but it seemed strange, and i also wanted to keep the moustache

I'd also like to rework a bit the normal one, that looks awful...
btw, i'd bring the range of the master version to 5

Do you think plus 2 range would be OP? Because slingers are affected by master archery I believe

I don't think so, if we make 5 range 3 attacks but low attack (or 2 attacks and normal damage)

Different take on it what if a 6 turn tech only learned in archery range made slinger production time 1 round with no improvements to them?
