...Now about the images, I think you should make them each darker color variations as the name tells me that these troll are different species.

Could even rename the mountain troll to the Norwegian translation unless... Troll Hunter "movie," sucked and we'd rather not name a unit after it's largest creature.

The units subraces are from the lord of the ring world. They generally differs in size and strength. I might add some skin details if you all think it is needed

I'm still waiting on troll regeneration to hit. That might necessitate some health and armor changes for all trolls.... well, except shaman. That is weak enough regeneration might let it survive just one more hit.

I don't think I've unlocked any of those yet, except for mummies and giants themselves, but which units actually are considered anti-giant and what their current bonuses? Just so I have a slice of what's going on.

Okay thanks, Drake knight was definitely a culprit to me. Sentinel was quite unknown on the other hand.

I think they should just receive 100% more. They are already good at killing everything else.

I hadn't caught that Drake knights were anti giant. Far as I knew they were just big flying threats. I do agree that sentinels need some help against giants though, and I'd believe Drake knights could use it too. My experience with humans vs Giants is to catapult it away.

Yeah, they aren't anti-giant the same way spearman are anti-cavalry

They are strong units that have bonus against giants so they can fight on par.

Sentinels are a hybrid unit that are both harder to kill and have bonus against giants and cavalry. With evasion techs they will have a much easyer time since they can avoid being hit and take almost no counters.

Drake knights have bonus against both dragons and giants and they can easily use their breath to kill enemies from afar (they are also great against buildings).

My idea was to make slingers for humans (that would be cheap units but they might kill giants in groups). For elves i'm waiting to test evasion for balance and summoned ents are already great to keep giants from reaching your ranged. About undeads they generally should use summons to keep giants at bay (using disposable units is the best way to avoid attacks from big and costly units) and they can simply convert or kill giants with sacrifice killer (and loosing a 8 turns units is always a bad thing).

Giants aer strong but requires a good investment into your army, so the best way is to kill them with cheaper units (e.g. if i loose a 4 turns assassin to kill a 8 turns giants i have a 4 turns advantage).

Yeah. Anyway it is mostly a matter of who's the first to attack. The real problem for elves is the fact that you can only make a limited amount of sentinels (only from tcs)

I was thinking to put them into great trees too or into a new building

I've been thinking the same thing. It falls back to the same tc only choke point elves have on their armies. I've found myself using melee centaurs in places I'd rather not have cavalry, just for something melee that can move faster than 2 spaces at a time, just because I can build them in archery ranges.
