A magmatic bullet is a concentrated amount of magma shot at high speed
It deals 10 damage at range 8 and can hit flying units

Lava flow:

8 turns

Volcanoes and towers gain a new ability called lava flow

Lava flow deals 30 damage to all enemies in a range of 1 around the building.

Nice. I was thinking of an eruption for volcanoes, doing massive damage to everything in radius 2.

If we give such a options for orcs,shouldnt we give somethink similar to other races megabuldings?

Sure. At the moment the only race with improvement to buildings is human (with massive walls and other techs that improve buildings life).

I proposed a similar thing for elves to make archers gain extra range from inside their buildings (that are like trees and might provide to be a good shooting position).

Those with the worse buildings are undeads but the spirit towers could really change everything (since bone golems might become extra units at near to no cost and without vanishing until near a spirit tower)

Only thing. As a spell ability, bullet ignores armor. We might need to make it a little less damage to compensate. And only 8 range. I don't think it should out range human towers.

I think lava flow, however, should probably deal 2x damage, inflict burning, and have cooldown 3. That makes enemies a little wary of approaching a volcano, for sure, but once triggered there's a window of opportunity for a couple turns.

Are you sure they do? I'll ask Daniel if it is possible to make them be like simple attacks that use armor.

Now the volcano deal 15 damages. We can make them deal 10 instead (few units have 5 or more armor).

Yeah 10 damage works. It's a little weaker, but that's part of the price for the extra range.

You have the lava flow images in opposite order on the op. To clarify, the one I prefer is lava flow.png, not lava flow2.png

Stats are nice, but you didn't really specify the range of the attack. I think 8 is enough.

I was more for 9 but only because we plan to powerup other megabuildings/towers and because we were planning to make it deal lower damage. I think it might be also useful against flying units.

About lava flow i don't know if normal damage is enough. Samurai was suggesting a massive damage and at the start I tought normal was fine, but in the end you can already use a normal shot with area damage. Maybe we should go for 2x damage or something in the middle.

About costs I started with 8 for both but we might think a lower cost but relate both making one a requirement for the other.

Make magmatic bullet the first iteration at 6 turns research at volcano​ and 8 range, to avoid outranging any decent counter or human towers. Lava flow would follow, at 6 cost again from volcano. 2x normal damage in radius 2 around the building. Yes, that means volcanoes can reach 24 squares due to their massive size, but this can damage your own troops, so be careful.

That's why I say it might not be worth it. In AoF maps are generally smaller than AoF and with orcs you always end up with units packed up in a small space and volcanoes built very close to other buildings. That would definitely make more damage to you than other players.

It would be better even range 1 only but with a high damage and no friendly fire or you will never use it,
