Dragon head blast - FINALIZED

researched at the crypt

Cost: 8

Effect:

Bone golems gain the dragon breath ability: They can use their arm to trow a small fireball (smaller range) to nearby enemies that can set them on fire (useful against wooden units and trolls)

Sounds like an okay idea, but "Dragon's Arm Breath?"

Seems like giving the golems the ability to breathe dragon arms.

How about "Dragon's Arm" instead. It's a slightly better name for it.

Yeah, I also knew the name wasn't great but I tought we can decide a better one together xD

Anyway they already have a dragon's head as arm

I haven't decider yet. I don't want it to be spammable cause you can virtually make an infinite amount of stone golems. Also golems are meant from defense and that is a good way to make them real towers thanks to a spirit tower

A range of 2 will be good (it will hurt the golem but just think it as a balancing effect)
roleplay: the golem can not handle this abillity very well and it tunds to hurt it in the process.

Being a breath it should work really near the unit (since it goes directly out of the dragon's mouth) but i think it shouldn't damage the unit.

If we might be able to handle a conic form with the summit of the cone oriented toward the golem it would be perfect but I assume it requires a lot of coding

yeah, it sounds better

Anyway I've made the unit this way from the start but I completely forgot about that until now (I was deleting images from old posts to regain space) and in my original idea it was already considered a tech to gain the dragon breath (that is why I put that head there in the first place xD)

I suppose you could make it single use per golem. There's an option to do so already in the JSONs, and that would be completely non-spamable while still being very useful.

Since now golems have the chance to survive a lot with vanishing i'd prefer a long cooldown

I think that range 2 with a radius of 2 is ok.

What i mean with "spammable" is that you can really make a lot of golems in a turn so the skill cooldown should start greyed to avoid a tactic like "build golem and shoot"

Also it could possibly be named "immolation" or "immolate" it's just a word that generally means " to set on fire"

I don't like much immolation because it soynds more like sacrificing a unit.

I'd rather refer the name to the dragon breath (like Bone dragon breath or such)

Ok i think that some straight fire damage is needed

Now that we have the spirit towers to keep bone golems alive I think this might become incredibly powerful to face enemy groups and enemies that are vulnerable to fire damage

With upcoming demons and some others I don't really like this fire focused base units.
For bone golem is bit weird imho

Tho it's OK if go with
FIRE missile - one target, applies burning
has fix dmg 6-10.?

(ik this skill needed for pyromancee,fire drake, salamander)
For naturally blood will be of kind

It would make sense because they already have poison. And isn't it just a dragon head so it should poison like the regular dragon.
