AI has upgraded units when they should be disabled

I'm currently playing in a 4-person game called "Xaniro" where we have kicked two inactive players that are now AI, and llXaniroll and I are playing the rest of the game. "Enable Upgrades" is set to "no" but one AI is hitting me with Broad Swordsman and the other has poison archers! Dirty dirty AI tricks. Oh, he also has horse archers and axe men now. Seems like the other player only has basic units like me. Let me know if you want me to send you the game ID.

The AI is not limited to the upgrade limitations.

Ah OK, good to know! I guess that makes it a little more competitive then.

I think it's a little different. Is not that one discussing what happens to a bet games gems if players get kicked?

I thought those are just two occasions with the same cause: "AI currently cares only about it being easy/hard (uses/not uses Upgrades), not about your Upgrade settings".
