5% Mend rate, and sacrifices itself to bind with structures.

Mushroom Explorer:
Image
Has a good eye for scouting, and can spot invisible enemies.

Mushroom caster:
Image
Supports the army.

Mushroom farmer:
Image
Uses corpses/carcasses to grow an army.

Growing Mushroom:
Image
Grows into a soldier in 2 turns on corpses, tree carcasses, and any non winter forest tile. Produced by Mushroom farmer.

Mushroom wall:
40 starting hp, regenerates and grows stronger each turn until it reaches 65 hp. Can be poisoned*

As a race, I think fungi should be cheap, swarming units for the most part. I'm talking 1 cost for the most basic units, plus summons that are identical, just with vanishing​. Summons upgrade with their counterparts, and might even be created from certain units delivering the finishing blow to an enemy, or grown from nearby corpses.
Currently residing at the local ninja academy. I'm still watching though.

And I can't believe we're doing this. When I said it I wasn't expecting the idea to take off so well. I'm glad it did, seeing as it's fun and should make this a much richer and more in depth game even than before.

Nice work on the images, but I think we need them to be more white skinned for the stand alone race of Fungus.

My next idea is a spell caster,

Fungal Caster,
Hp:14
Attack:3
Movement:3
Cost:3
Armor:0/0
Sight:5

Abilities:
50% regeneration
Strengthen
Slow
Forest walk

Can also plant tiny spores into the ground that will grab the legs of infantry and slow them down when you are trying to retreat.

Mushroom tower: good, effective way to secure an area without needing direct attacks. Just give it clockspinning spell, to accommodate mass summons​.

Fungal worker: cost down to 1, mend rate to 5. Give it an ability to sacrifice self to permanently give a mend-repaired unit or building 5 regeneration. (Bonded self to structure​, constantly working on it. This ability doesn't stack, and can be applied to not yet completed buildings to speed up construction.)

Giant mushroom: average factory. What is there to debate?

Mushroom thrower: power 2, range 3, 2 actions per turn, and poison weapon.

A unique take on the "castle" building.

Spore cloud
300 life
1 attack, poisoned weapon
15 actions (yes, that's a LOT of attacks, but 1 dmg per hit isn't too bad, though it poisons everything around.)
Range 3
3 movement, flying
Builds..... haven't made anything for this yet.
Spells, auras: still haven't thought that far

It's kind of a building, but it doesn't stay still. It charges in with the troops, faster even than elf buildings.

I like it, very unique.

If it can charge into battle I suggest lowering hp to 200. And since it flies it can be immune from some siege weapons' bonus damage.
