About the stats, Ha-Go is very inferior than almost all major combatants light tanks. So the cost might be just 3.

HP of Ha-Go tank should be 14/14. In real life a machinegun fire can penetrate it's armor.

and what should be its armor?
(machinegun penetration should be represented by armor - an armor close to machinegun power means machinegun makes little damage, an armor lower than machinegun means machinegun will damage it more)

In real life Ha-go is outdated and it's armor is weak against newer tech tanks and guns. So Hp is the most fitting one. Maybe 15/15 instead?

Other idea= transform the infantry unit to banzai charge unit.
Stats=
Hp=20
speed=4
power=15
lose 5 hp evertime killing a target.
Ability=transform back to normal Japanese Inf.

I'm not okay with giving Japanese infantry some sort of fast travel.

They should be more vulnerable to attacks if they are charging.

I was thinking about that but then again they would most likely get shot at first if they charged in with bayonet knives to kill infantry.

Good point,maybe another ability:"No retreat".The hp wont drop below 1 hp exept if at 1 hp.

The speed of Japanese Infantry in the unit comparisson topic is 4. You can open dev ask for help section. Also the HP. 20 Hp can survive 3 kill before died.

But,in real life,if you were charging with a knife on a stick while distance between your enemy and you is 500m and enemy is equiped with a rifle or MP 40,will you die?Hard question...

In early WW2 period, most soldiers were armed with bolt action rifle. Banzai charge was an acceptable strategy at first (such as Invasion of China). When the first semi automatic rifle arrive and more rapid fire weapons used, banzai charge will cause massive cassualties. Banzai charge was used for last resort (better dead than captured). Most US soldiers are scared of Banzai Charge.
