Biological Warfare

Unethical means, such as throwing Insects & rotting bodies through a catapult to spread plague were used often in History.
So, maybe a new Catapult-like unit that causes poison effect in a 3x3 area?
The unit itself will be very weak & decrease Morale around it, because "rotting bodies" eh.

I like it but the poison mechanic should affect only buildings and it will need a cooldown to stop it from becoming op, i think making production slower by adding 1 turn should be good engouh

Maybe keep the base damage 0. So it only Inflict poison status & no immediate damage. Also, since poison can't stack, so it won't be that OP.
Basically, it promotes more diverse armies than simply spamming knights etc. & also make healers more important in the game. & decreasing morale means decreasing armor so its more like a double edged sword. PS the cooldown idea is cool :D

Yeah your suggestion works better, now what should it specifically be like a catapult or a corpse wagon?

a wagon filled with corpses they were often left outside castles and forts to bring disease, now in the regard of supply I honestly have no idea

Let's not do that. Reloading with bodies will require too many changes in the game.

Actually, I was thinking of a new building that trained "unconventional" methods of warfare. Those being- this corpse catapult, poison archers, spies, Assasins, poison-swordsman (maybe) and a few other ideas.

The best if u use the disease(as poison variant - what can spread tile by tile -)

Spreading disease would be too OP. The opponent would have to eradicate the disease in one turn or it would just spread again. Maybe such a thing could be countered by a high cost or something.

In most medieval thematic game
(with a bit late antic and early renesans oh and Spaceship) wud be a great addition with all feeling. And fun aside of other aura buildings (Eg well - prevents fire within 3 range)
(infecting their well and their own Base will kill em :twisted:)

I said to check the plague doctor bcos I think we talked about this.

Mainly - disease high dmg, non stacking
can be healed, upon death lives an infecting corpse what infects nearby units within a certain range - Aura (regardless we know not always that the reason for spreading it)

Corpse can be burned.

Ctapult has cd(reload) no/minimal dmg
And 30% miss chance on infection
(not affected by speed /speel res)
Range 6-8

We either make summon corpse (100%)
Or hit target (70%)- who lives a corpse after death)

May make infected corpse with chance but idk.

Also don't forget that disease can infect u too.
The enemy sends his/her knight to u - REVENGE

Risky gamble :)

Now we need a grotesque img

I absolutely love this idea, biochemical warfare has been a thing basically forever and would be cool to implement.
