Undead Money courier: Soul holder/collector

Created at Town Hall.
The soul collector will be the undead equivalents to Money courier, except for one special ability. They can heal any unit fully, using the soul that they have to repair them. But once they do they disappear. But if you don't want that, you could invest in the tavern/Mercenary Outpost. http://www.ageofstrategy.net/viewtopic.php?f=86&t=5033

I think what might be cooler is a unit that collects souls every time it kills something, and can bring them to a tc or factory to speed up production, like a money courier

Bonuses against nothing, attack is already strong.

Each soul it collects gives it a "soul collected" effect, and when it ends its turn in a tc or factory, amount of souls are removed from the current production cost.

It's better that I seen around here, but the head maybe need some work and arms has to be a bit more well more. Imagine the soul collector as Shakespeare holding the skull. But except he's dead and a orb filled with Souls.

I remember LordOfAles made a soul dealer topic a while back, along much the same lines. Maybe we should have the topics merged.

It seems close, except you kill someone to collect Souls while the soul dealer used corpses.

Too close to use both as separate ideas anyway. LOA's has a good picture, if you care to go with that image.

Isn't LoA image seems a bit flat? I would say Doomcarrot images far better. Maybe he should add a cloak on it.

Personally I like this idea more as you have to kill enemies to use it, not just pick up grave digger corpses and self-destructed golems.

And while all can clearly see my lack of skills as a pixel artist, I do think that the soul dealer image is pretty bland looking. It doesm't look like something that is coming to murder you and imprison your soul lol. Although I don't think my images capture that effect well either. :lol:

Maybe try finding a unit to be used as a base, I'm sure you can find something. Unlike me, you at least can make something from the ground up.

Hmm, this one has more uses them the money courier. I guess lower cost by 1 isn't that big of a down side considering the other abilities.
But we have to remember that cannibalize is getting a revamp to bring units back to full life and undead can now produce corpses. They also will be getting more units that can heal so healing would no longer be a problem for them. So let's just make it like the money courier for now or make it effect units vanishing since spirit towers also deal with souls and keep units alive with them. This unit could either speed up production by 1 for their factory or we could make it add 3-2 vanishing to a unit that has vanishing on undead side.

The healers for undead are building up in their topic and on top of that the cannibalize spell is getting a revamp making it more useful and gravediggers will also be more useful.

Might lower armour to 0 and health to 10, attack to 6, couriers shouldn't be so strong in combat if they are only supposed to reduce the cost of units.
Otherwise the speed, and p.armour seem fine.

Lower armor and p.armor to 0/2, health to 10, remove attack and sacrificed healing. So it will become just a money courier.

What about a spell for lich like reanimation but summon soul dealers from corpses?

Or make the soul dealer summon souls from corpses that can be used to lower units costs. Would work well with the grave digger. Souls could have stats similar to that of a wisp.
