Oh you mean the time when your bridge was already damaged by shoddy handiwork, my men stood ground. Oh and a small point for perspective. You killed HALF my offensive ground units, a blow from which we have yet to recover as all efforts are poised against a orange vegetable.

shoddy handiwork!?! :( :( :(
I never do anything shoddily, but I will confess that my workers have placed a higher priority constructing works to protect ourselves and that bridge was only a rudimentary trade lifeline to the west, but shoddy just hurts. :)

To put things into perspective, an unfortunate tragedy happened and one of hardeep's offensive ground units was lost. :cry:

And you will notice that ALL my units have stood their ground this turn (I double checked) adding another 100+ damage purposefully NOT added to our joint researchers.

To further put things into perspective, the COOLcommand has ordered a last attempt of a defensive maneuver against the PCCS on all COOLfronts, in close coordination with the alemen.

Doom's castle of shame has been reduced to a scant 300/1000 hp ONE turn into the conflict COOLwarplanners estimate that by turn two, the defensive COOLforces shall have reduced the Dark Castle which will in turn clear the way for the ale meister's fleet to regain their lost waters.

Conservative estimates place the enemy's losses (due to his own aggressive actions) at 50+ turns this turn.

How do you think he makes his trebs (and soon, cannons)? With production AND fortification gone, DoomCarrot's fragile facade of aggression will crumble.

I find it very interesting that Doom seems to be so worried in the game chat of a defensive an cooperative protectorate alliance.

Although first off, you have been the one attacking my shores this whole game. My aggresive defensiveness to hold my collapsing borders seems to have been mistaking for aggressive offense :)

And yeah, Hardeep, my castle as kept him from being able to build cannon towers all over his islands and thus control the international waters. Thats why he wants it destroyed... :lol:

Congratulations world: At 14:32 GMT the great castle of doom was made an end to at the cost of gallons of gallant COOLblood.

And hardeep, please. You can see whatever you want from your land, but please don't fly so close - it makes me nervous. That's why I put a little screen up for you. :D
I am trying to rebuild a fleet, for alas my defenses against the carrot were nearly spent on that last great effort.

I am at somewhat of a loss to find your point. Yes, I paid dearly - the world paid dearly, but the cost of freedom and peace has always been high. My actions have continually been defensive in nature and, despite your numerous assaults and even more countless aggressive actions, we will continue to defend our homes, lives, and freedom at any cost.

Yes many, many of my ships were lost in heroic defense of our homeland in the face of DOOM, terror, and aggression. But we will continue. We managed to destroy the Dark Tower of the Carrot, and that is a symbol. It is also much more - this will prove to be more than a Pyrrhic moral victory: it will prove to be the end of PCCR aggression.

However, this is not the end... Already the Carrotmen are busily attempting to rebuild the ugly symbol. In the absence of any sort of strong defensive fleet to the south in that area to counter it, all the free COOLpeople of the COOLnation are begging the alemeisters to START mobilizing their strength to the SOUTH to fight the REAL enemy OF PEACE!!!

Also one of my few surviving heroic defense ships was cowardly sunk by a suicidal KAMIKAZE.

DoomCarrot's entrenchment of the supposed DMZ of the northern coast still remains mostly intact. He has also garrisoned offensive units such as a few Fire archers, one (with the slight possibility of two) heavy catapult, and a trebuchet. But you can deduce the position of those units by seeing if he has destroyed any fortresses within range (meaning if the fortress is still standing, a treb is not within 10 spaces). To be warned, Doom has mastered flight, but it is probably cost prohibitive (meaning he probably has one tops that he is saving for me).

BUT
I am certain you will be able to liberate the coast and carry it with a large fleet of triremes (to take out coastal positions) and supporting catapult ships. I don't know for certain the strength of your defense, but I do know the strength of your will for freedom, and the doughtiness of your merchant folk!

Unfourtanately my engineers were very stupid because of the lack of funding to my brainwashing public schools. Also, I ended up working most of my builders to death or shipping them to the frontlines weaponless because I needed every man I could get. So then the new builders didn't understand what the half built tower thing here was for, or what that leaning wall over there was supposed to be. So after a few cycles of workers getting murdered and replaced, my castle's structural integrity began to show some serious flaws..

Ah, of course, the ale-o-war ships will be departing for the ale brigade to the aleless isles of the westernesse to help bring in the revenue needed to repair the wartorn carrot isle, so the imperial COOLfleet must protect our alehouses and our bridge constructors. You need to send a few loaded transport ships newly liberated capital of Carrotsbane. As for trade with our COOLprotectorate, it will commence from alebirds, in honour of the late Alebird of the Alesand hills. The COOLALEISHAW Federation is coming in with a strong start! :D

Directive to the COOLnation and all free peoples of Guadalcanal - Alefolk, Eastern industrialists, and Westernesse alike:

At turn 56 in the month of January, the great Scourge of DoomCarrot's Communistic Kingdom was defeated - brought low by the stalwart defense of all.

Trade negotiations were immediately begun, and the hard task of rebuilding the new city of Carrotsbane along with reconstruction of the liberated sb government was likewise started. Crews of COOLworkers are streaming to help at Carrotsbane, and the COOLfleet (fresh from the defensive COOLfront) are busily escorting incoming alebirds along the trade routes.

Expect screenshots of our boys showing the world what peace looks like to appear soon on the news.

On a more serious note however, the supreme COOLleader of the COOLprotectorate (as well as acting member in the Geneva Shemeva World Peace and Ale Trade Council) has announced that the tedium of the world has come upon him. The tireless leader, COOLguy, has finally succumbed to the need for a private life.

Over a mug of orange juice at the local tavern, COOLguy conferred with hardeep on many matters, and also publicly announced his decision to withdraw on turn 60 from the leadership of the COOLnation. Democratic and free elections will once again be held as peace has its way across the world.

"The Third Age was my age," COOLguy informed the press, "My part was to take a lead in this defense of our freedom. Now that task is done."
