Drake Peak ACCEPTED

Post by General Brave » Mon Jan 01, 2018 3:35 am

A place where dragons have gifted their young to be used.

Cost 1
Hp 19-20
Attack power 3-4
Range 3-4
Armor 0-1
Pierce Armor 2-3
Speed 0
Sight 3
Action /turn 1/1
Carry capacity 2
Constr. bonus 0%
Mend bonus -20%
Spell resistance 0%

Can raise dragons, except they are Drake's. (Baby dragon)
While not as strong as the other race dragons, they could still pack a punch.

Create fire-drakes.

Create poison drakes.

And whatever else that if we can think of.

Hmm, so these make smaller versions of dragons. I don't think we really need them TBH as there is a big variety of suggested dragons for this race already and that might make too many units. The concept is not bad though.

Probably make this a tower that relys on frames as its attacks. Drakes have vanishing and can hit single targets and can be summoned from here. 3 drakes could be ice drake, fire drake, poison drake. It could be a high cost tower so a 8 turn build.

New suggestion:
Change name to drake peak

Give summon drake, no cool, summons random drake.

Basically, dragon going are sometimes referred to as draggy's or welps, frames are like that sized to hawk sized dragons, that's what this new suggestion will be referring to.

Drake

So, in other words... It is similar to the elvish wolf den?

Like the concept... Extend to Vanishing 6

Well if dragon worker will build it then sliver drake could come in.

Btw stats are 2 posts above images.

And yes, it somewhat works like wolf den only with the chance play.

Updated. They should be easy enough to kill with archers considering they don't have armour and lack any good Hp. They do not have bonuses.

Just one question, should this be buildable on mountains?

I would say so... Dragons and Drake's are notorious mountain dwellers.

No only that, but every mountian needs it's peak.

Looks nice!

Ohh, NOW the idea is starting to look interesting! Would be a nice defensive structure, I like it.

Question though. Does the tower summon more than one drake per turn? These drakes look a SLIGHT bit too weak to be actually useful. I'd suggest buffing their stats slightly, maybe increase atk to 5 or 6 and speed to flying- 5, would look better like that to me.

Another question, I know what burning weapon and posion weapon are but what really is "chill weapon"? I don't recall seeing it before. Does it apply some sort of slow or what?

Another thing, the chances don't really add up to 100%.
Also the elemental drakes seem a bit too rare.
I suggest something like:
Normal drake: 50%
Each elemental drake (3 different ones): 15% each
Silver drake: 5%
That adds up to 100%. sounds pretty good to me.

Wolves weren't actually that powerful either. The stats are to make up for the fact that it flies. I'll update some though.

"Chilling weapon" - on hit applies for 3 turns "chilling" effect which slows unit (-1 speed, -4 attack) and damages it for 4 damage/turn. Doesn't stack with itself. Can be applied only to living units, can't affect mechanical units, undeads, demons, elementals and buildings.

I take it that since you didn't put any complaints on the units, that you haven't looked over them completely? Or are they actually ok?

About building:
i will look over scaledfolks later.

About summons:
they i think are fine. maybe only vanishing can be a bit lower but that is discussable.

Well, with 5 speed they definitely look better now. I still think they could use subtle buffs to either hp or attack, or both, but it's also not bad like this
