For multiplayer matches, mainly, i should think...

One player creates a match and designates a given number, up to, say, three specific TC's as checkpoints, and points are scored by the player who controls those checkpoints based on the number of turns they control them...the match lasts for a preset number of turns (determined ahead of time by the match creator), and whoever has the most points at the end of the match wins...players can gain and lose control of checkpoints a lot, and usually do...it's a lot of fun to play...

the idea isn't new, i play it frequently on Unreal Tournament...yeah, i know that's an old game, but it's still cool, even now...
It's better to keep your mouth shut and let people wonder if you're a fool than to open it and remove all doubt...

Sounds great! It reminders me of a few games I used to play. (Which is a good thing)

I really like that too :)
my favourite is the ctf facing worlds :)

the idea is nice. I add it to my vote list :)

That's my favorite match in UT, too!! :-) ...i always get the jump boots and sit on the roof of my base with a sniper rifle and pick off enemies as they emerge from the mountain...lol. ;-)

somotemis I ho down for the ultimate-meg-nuke-like weapon :)

It's fun to use, but ammo for it is hard to find unless you have the infinite ammo cheat... ;-)

Anyway, if the code for this mode isn't to hard to add, it would be a great addition to the game!! :-)

Yea it would be cool but Iinsted of using the as scoring zones use something like flags or a small object that you can't build on top of, and when a unit stands on the object the team scores points... what u think :D
Admire the flowering buds all you like...
However it's the thorns you need to be worried about
