Cost=3 turns. Speed=4. Power=8 cause fear. A fast moving US marine excelent to raid and taking tcs.

Maybe a good bonus on soft targets such as infantry including Artillery and AA.

They're short ranged. They would have shoot more than a kilometer far in order to have better range and area damage in-game.

I can't imagine long-range shotguns lol. :P
But what will be the differences between this units (i think it will easily had bonus against infantry) and mortar or flamethrower or machine gun, too much infantry having bonus against other type of infantry right now.

what would be the difference between infantry and the marines? More damage? And if so there should be bonuses for ground installations because of Iwo Jima there was a lot of bunkers to destroy!

Don't really see the point to a shotgun armed solider to have bonus against building.

Here's a better ability:
It can shoot anything that takes the capacity of a unit. Like fighting enemies on TCs, but on other buildings instead. Making it clear structures of units without having to destroy it first.

It's ability to tear down buildings would just be more weird.

Possibly, I think this unit will be a very interesting unit, because of cost, but yet very useful in many situations.

If you look up history, at least World War II history. There must be a pattern what they did the most.

But I really like the breach and clear tactics.

Yes "general brave" and i think we have it made so the player should want to use this unit in historically accurate situations. Like taking a beach head by giving the unit a bonus against buildings and faster movement.
