Arbalest IMPLEMENTED

The arbalest (also arblast) was a late variation
of the crossbow coming into use in Europe
during the 12th century.


Arbalest is a ranged unit (heavy archer).
Longest range than Archer,Fire,Poison,Crossbow,and Long Bow.
weaker & slower because of heavy weight of the bow.
This not a royal unit it is an ordinary but powerful unit.

This unit can train in archery,tcs.

maybe yes but my idea is not an upgrade unit, it is a single upgrade unit. The different to ranged units is the range & damage.

other ranged units powerful than this but this one is a super long range unit, not OP, i mean its longer than crossbowman but weaker.

I don't know, it could be more fitting as an upgrade longbow archer. Besides, the only reason players select longbow men is because of their incredible range for early on in the game. The ablast makes them obsolete as their attack can deal more damage and go much farther. The effects of blacksmith upgrading will make them ridiculously overpowered.

I don't think slowing them down and giving them less health will solve this problem although it is definitely an inconvenience.

A longbow is kind of a weapon all of its own though. I think an upgrade like that would be weird. That would be like upgrading a light cavalry into a horse archer or something

It is ment to have more power than that. Now it is ment to be built in a castle, btw since it was originally ment to have 2 speed I suggest giving it a speed of two wouldn't make things worse.

It's not ready yet.

Power should be "6."

The image needs more work as well. The legs look a bit artificial.

No, the heaviness is supposed to make them weaker or more vulnerable. Look how slow they walk, it's the artillery version of a shielder.

Attack: At least 6 if it is affected by upgrades, at least 8 if it isn't affected by upgrades.

HP: at least 11

Armor: At least 0/1 if affected by upgrades, at least 1/2 if not

Range, at least 7 if affected by upgrades, 9 if not.

Speed: Probably 2

Those are basically minimum stats for a abalanced 3 cost unit imo. Anything worse and this will never be used, anything too significantly better and it will be overused.
