Incursor Orc

A powerful Orc mounted archer that can shoot twice.

Attack power: 10
Range: 5
Armor: 2
Pierce armor: 5
Speed: 5
Sigth: 7
Action / turn: 2/2
Spell resistance: 40%
Size: 1x1
Builders: Volcano, Orc camp
Spell & abilities: poison weapon (he only can shoot
one arrow, but It has poison )

What do you think?

Ranged mounted orc? You want to kill game? Orcs cannot ranged.

I desing this unit because goblins archers are really bad shooting. But in is only an idea.

You know... Orcs got stronger warriors. They just cant got strong ranged.

Its rasy to kill orcs by elves if you play well. But other rases got realy low changes.

It is true, orcs are by the starting concept overall bad at ranged.

I don't think they are overpowered even tough it is true that they have the strongest base units in term of hp and attack.

Orcs still suffer a lot against elves and humans who rely on archers and siege weapons.
Elves are generally faster and a good player can keep you in the range of his arrows and still stay out of melee range (i also easily overpower orc that way, and if present i focus on cavalry, cause riders are the only units that can easily reach elves in melee). If you are good enough to resist until you can make a good number of ettins and orc kings tough you can strike back killing a lot of enemies at once (it's still a risky move, since you might die before producing your first ettin).
Against humans you have to face their towers, and taking them down is not an easy task. Especially if the enemy is starting producing siege units, that can make a lor of damage and kill lot of orcs at once before they can lie their hands on a single fortress.

Said that the orcs aren't still going to have good archers as basic units (you can make uruks that are pretty good but you can't really swarm them since they are 3 turns units and need a special factory to being produced) but we are planning some anti archer units like the headhunter and the armored orc upgrades. there are also planned some upgrades for the axe thrower and i'd like to make the upgrades for the current goblin archer that will slowly make them better (you will still need many turns to make them decent ranged, but they will).

if this unit is implemented, this unit will become unbalanced, other players will be bored to orcs because orcs are very powerful and offensive. So this unit will fix later » (if this unit is quickly implemented without balancing procedures) This unit will be listed to problem about.....» if this unit is not fixed in short time.

So if you want to implemented this, lets fix this unit first... :) Or this topic will be forgotten... :(

I dont think its good idea,but mayby with 5 attack power,4 range and precision penetly it can work. (We leave albitlies)

I would make a goblin mounted on a cat-like creature (like cheeta or similar)

Stats would be the one for a goblin archer but with more hp, speed and maybe some armor

i would then plan some upgrades for both to make them more viable at least in a long game
